Historical parade organised to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Poland regaining independence.
Historical formations from the early Slavic state, Piast dynasty, kingdom of Poland, the Polish-Lithuanian Union under Jagiellon dynasty, the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth (Rzeczpospolita), Napoleonic Wars, November and January Uprising, I World War, II World War, Polish-Soviet war and the Cold War.

Polish Armed Forces Day. This year held in the city of Katowice to commemorate the anniversary of the Silesian Uprisings. Soldiers from United States, United Kingdom, Romania, Croatia and Estonia accompanied Poles in the celebration Święto Wojska Polskiego, Katowice.

Poland did ot surrender. Polish troops fought since the very first day of war through the battle of Norway, France, the Atlantic, Britain. Poles took part in the campaigns in North Africa, Middle East, the landing in Normandy and Italy, liberating significant parts of France, Belgium and the Netherlands while also fighting on the Eastern front. Poles constituted the 3rd largest fighting force among the Western allies and took Berlin.
